Section 301 Investigation – Vietnam's Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement. USTR initiated this investigation under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 to examine Vietnam's IP-related acts, policies, and practices. The investigation evaluates whether such practices are unreasonable or discriminatory and burden or restrict U.S. commerce.
