Effective April 1, 2026, FedEx introduces a Broker Document Transfer Fee of JPY 3,840 per air waybill for shipments imported into Japan where customs clearance is performed by a broker other than FedEx. The FedEx International Broker Select option costs JPY 1,420 per AWB or JPY 170/kg (whichever is greater). Fee is charged to the Japan-based recipient, not the shipper.
